Freerolls
I have mixed feelings about this. Lets break it down.
- Cost - I love freerolls!!! They are free. Best thing ever. I don't know about you but I don't have all the money in the world to deposit every time I want to. But on the other hand they are free, which means that every Tom, Dick, and Harry can sign up to play. You get a lot of frustration when you play freerolls.
- Quality if Players- Like I said above because of the cost you get a lot of people who don't know how to play or maybe they know how to play they just get stupid in a freeroll. Worst thing I hate is the All-In first hand no matter what. Drives me nuts. Anyway I have found that if you can overcome the lack of skill and even profit off of it, the quality seems to improve after the first hour or so.
- Time VS Money- As much as I like poker and freerolls, this part can definitely be one of the draw backs. The money is great for a new player, or even someone like me who cant afford to deposit a lot but playing in a tournament for over 5 hours just to win 20 dollars is kinda of bummer. I mean you can do a lot with 20 or 30 dollars but that's only if you come in first. There have been many a tournament that I have played in for well over 4 hours just to win $.46 cents or $.33 cents.
Well thats my 2 cents on this. Please leave a comment and let me know how you feel.
