Freerolls

I have mixed feelings about this. Lets break it down.

  1. Cost - I love freerolls!!! They are free. Best thing ever. I don't know about you but I don't have all the money in the world to deposit every time I want to. But on the other hand they are free, which means that every Tom, Dick, and Harry can sign up to play. You get a lot of frustration when you play freerolls.

  2. Quality if Players- Like I said above because of the cost you get a lot of people who don't know how to play or maybe they know how to play they just get stupid in a freeroll. Worst thing I hate is the All-In first hand no matter what. Drives me nuts. Anyway I have found that if you can overcome the lack of skill and even profit off of it, the quality seems to improve after the first hour or so.
  3. Time VS Money- As much as I like poker and freerolls, this part can definitely be one of the draw backs. The money is great for a new player, or even someone like me who cant afford to deposit a lot but playing in a tournament for over 5 hours just to win 20 dollars is kinda of bummer. I mean you can do a lot with 20 or 30 dollars but that's only if you come in first. There have been many a tournament that I have played in for well over 4 hours just to win $.46 cents or $.33 cents.

Well thats my 2 cents on this. Please leave a comment and let me know how you feel.
